Treo650 is my favorite toy, or say friend. Maybe it is with Treo650 I spend most of my spare time.

I always put it directly on the desktop. And usually I set it to silent mode in work time. When a call is coming, it only vibrates and play no music ( of coz I can prevent it vibrating too, but I will miss calls then… ). So I am alwalys worried if its back will have more and more abrasion.

Yesterday I found some good thing. See the picture below. The only shortage is, it is somewhat too thick and maybe a little ugly, aha.

All the technology specific is the exactly same as we expected. But after carefully searching, I still can not find the resolution of the new Treo700w. Has it been decided?

From the announce pictures, we can see the different idea of the two company. It’s interesting.

It has been a long time since I heard the news of Treo700, the next generation of Treo, would use Windows Mobile system. All the Treo fans include me kept thinking it’s just a joke. But it seems more and more believable.

The first blurred picture, the fisrt article about engineering device, the first clear look… until several days ago, it is said Palm, Microsoft and Verizon ( a large mobile network provider in US ) hold a news-release meeting together. All of these tell us, the Treo700w is true.

Maybe the failure of buy-back PalmSource is a important thing. A Japanese company called Access took the Palmsource in its bag. After that PalmOne ( now change its name to Palm again ) has to be a purely device maker.

From the Treo700w’s name, we can imagine it will probably a model called Treo700p. Then the Treo will more like our PC, just a machine, you can choose the OS, hehe.

But the technology parameter of Treo700w is still strange: Windows Mobile 5.0 system, 1m camera, 64m memory. But the picture shows the screen is a square. So what is the resolution, 240*240 or 320*320? I think both are unacceptable:)

OK here’s the comparable picture of Treo650 and expected Treo700w. Let’s look forward to it.
