Wait for Nokia 770
今天凌晨准备睡觉的时候，在hi-pda的discovery版发现一堆人在热火朝天的讨论Nokia 770，虽然现在对这类电子设备（或者说电子玩具）的热度已经远远比不上从前了，但是看到新鲜玩意儿，再加上不贵（可能另外的原因是有稳定收入之后这方面也比较松了），还是感兴趣的。

跟进去一看，呵呵，就是大概半年前关注过的奇怪东西么，诺基亚出的，但是不是手机，定位是类似于PDA的掌上设备，当时了解到的价格高的很（至少2k+吧），而且也想不出来到底买来能干什么，就放在一边了。但是，但是……现在居然只要1k左右就能拿到了啊。再跟着链接去看了一下51nb的几个相关帖子，再去淘宝搜了一下行情，犹豫了5分钟之后，定了一个J
不打算放毒，因为也没多少库存了，据说是expense进了2k个，现在库存只有200多了（发帖子的时候最新update：只有124个了）。个人对这个数字和进度表示谨慎怀疑，除非是有人集中大量吃进，不然这个销售进度似乎不可能。至于这个可能性，等到这边卖完就知道了，到时候看看市场上还有没有人以略高或者类似（批发总有点优惠的）价格在出。
列一下技术亮点：
- 触摸大屏，似乎是4″，而且据说效果不错；
- 高分辨率，当然这个也是相对掌上设备而言，800×480；
- 蓝牙和wifi支持都齐备；
- Linux内核，是基于Debian修改的，其实这个对于最终用户（特别是不是太会折腾的非开发者）并不重要，Linux也不意味着软件丰富，只是增大了移植的可能性而已，归根到底还是需要人折腾的；
- 支持扩展，虽然是可怜的rs-mmc，但是总比没有好；
- 带usb，有说直接支持usb键盘（这样输入就方便了），据说有hack程序可以直接支持usb-host（意味着可以播放移动硬盘上的文件了）；
- 内置软件直接支持pdf（效果不知，但应该不会太好也不会太差）；
- 内置软件直接支持rm播放（效果不知，估计高码率肯定不可能，毕竟只有200mhz的cpu）；
- 有支持语音的gtalk（奇怪，好像标准的linux版本还没看到发行呢）；
- 外观还不错（这个见仁见智）；
- 电池不错，据说能超过8小时；
OK，现在了解到的基本情况就是这些。刚打电话确认过，我的订单已经没问题，就等着发货了。估计顺利的话，一个星期之内可以拿到。
到时候大家可以期待有更多的图片和使用心得，毕竟我也是喜欢折腾的人，当然，前提是能抽出时间。

Upgrade to MsMoney 2006 + UltraMoney 5.0
One of the most important thing I use PDA (or Treo now) to do is tracking the money. The others are e-book reader and mp3. Of course the small games?on it?were also interesting. But after I bought a NDSL (will be mentioned in the future blogs) all the games in pda can not attract my eyes anymore.
At first I used PMT (Personal Money Tracker), a good solo money tracker program. It is easy to use and has multi-dbs’ support. At that time I created a?seperate db when a new year began, and kept the old ones. So I can still easily find and money spending records.
I had using PMT until I found it is somewhat useless that I just make those records. The more important thing should be analysis which is besed on the records. So I change the soft to Ultrasoft Money. It can?hotsync the Microsoft Money. The combination is great and have kept with me for more than 2 years.
Before this upgrading, the version is UltraMoney 4.3.2 and MsMoney 2004. I do not know if others meet the same thing: When there is many data in the MsMoney it takes many many time to load. I can even walk away for a coffee after I click the MsMoney icon…
OK, now the Ultrasoft released its UltraMoney 5.0. From the readme and update list we can see it has some good imporvements than the older version. The core is it can hotsync MsMoney 2006 (or 2007) perfectly. And the hotsync speed is greatly faster.

Good Palm sofware: PdaReach
We all know?the?small keyboard of Treo is great and very suitable for input. But do you have the same experiences with me that when sitting with a computer, you want to access Treo through the mouse and keyboard of PC.
PdaReach?is just what you want. By it you can take full control of your Treo (in fact not only Treo, it supports Treo 700p, Treo 600, Treo 650, LifeDrive, Tungsten E/E2, T2, T3, T5, Zire 21, 31, 71, 72 or the latest Tx and Z22.) Of course now I have only Treo650 in which PdaReach works perfectly. I have tested it in a Treo600 and also very OK.
How to input? You can easily type by the keyboard of PC, then the exact string appears in your Treo. If you want to have the feeling… you can click the small button in PdaReach:) Though the speed of it must be very slow.
How to make a screen click? Just click the same position of PdaReach.
I think PdaReach is such a wonderful tool, if you want to:
- Demonstration. Very great! You do not need those 3D-projectors any more. PdaReach is much more clear and suitable for it.
- Make a lot of screen-snaps of some applications. PdaReach can directly make this.
- Test and install software. You just need to drap and drop the .prc and .pdb file by mouse.
- Write SMS (short message service) by Treo. Look at the 3rd picture.
