Three notebook harddisks

I enlarge my notebook’s harddisk again. This time is changing 60g to 80g.

In fact in almost all situation, the size and the free space of my disk is only a symbol. Because without dozens of movies I have no way to fill them:)

I remember when I only had a 170m disk in one 386 PC, I had to delete nearly all the things on in, in order to install a large game called “Legend of JinYong”. It’s such a pleasure to make more free memory and disk space:)

But now when I changed my disk from 40g to 60g, then 60g to 80g. I only found I have lose my way… Did I really need this? What would I use them to do?

I don’t know, do you?

Here’s the group photo of them three, hehe

    Hello,
just happended to drop by your blog.
I also own a N410C and I would like to upgrade the harddisk (old one is 4200rpm and 30Gb).

    Was it difficult?
Is there an instruction PDF guide that would tell me how to open the notebook and reach the harddisk?

    Regards,
    Jon

Welcome. The performance of the n410c old hdd is really poor. So if you change it to the new one, you will surely find the great improvement.

Change the disk is not very difficult ( of course not as simple as some classic 14inch machine). You need to have a inn-hexagonal screwdriver to open the panel. Then everything is ok.

And luckly hp ( compaq ) offer a fully guide of this process. You can google “Maintenance and Service Guide N410c” by PDF format and find it.

Please let me know if you meet any problem:)
