Rubbish or treasure
Do you have Bluetooth adapter in notebook or desktop PC? What driver or application do you use now?
I bought a secondhand Bluetooth adapter two or three years ago at a very low price. Of course my request to it is just workable and its appearance was so poor.. Before purchase I searched in google and found it seems that a Bluetooth driver of bilinton (maybe spell mistake) works on nearly all adapters and the function is complete.
Every time after that, when I install the Bluetooth driver for others, I always suggested this driver, include on my own notebook. But sometimes I found it takes up too many resources. For example, even when I unplug the adapter from my PC, it only turns the sign to red in toolbar, but still takes up about 10m memory or more. This makes me sad. I only use the simplest function of it…
This time I don?? install any third-party driver of application. I use the integrated one in Windows XP SP2 though many people said it rubbishy and can not work normally. I only plug the adapter to the USB slot and Windows completes everything for me. I can easily send files to my Treo650 (which has Bluetooth) and receives files from it. Bluetooth hotsync? I only add a virtual Bluetooth COM port and then it works.
The best thing is by this I can save more than 10m memory and my notebook runs faster for sure. And it can satisfy me totally.
Anyway, simple is best.
